Private Equity Counsel, 4+ pqe, Dubai (In-house) To $175,000 USD

Although the press have made much of the fact that Dubai is taking a buffeting and feeling the pinch with the rest of the world, it remains a busy market where its wealthy sibling nations ensure that deal activity into and out of the regions remains high. Firmly standing amongst the most influential players in investment management, this institution is one of a few that can genuinely claim to hold a credible book of business.
It seeks a private equity lawyer/corporate lawyer with regional experience. Ideally you should have gained prior exposure to securities brokerage and commercial matters. Overseeing its investment management business, this is truly a rare prospect to move in-house with an institution that has a plausible regional foothold and a credible pipeline working hand in glove with the business.
Based in Dubai, the ideal candidate:
Will have a strong UK and/or US training and qualification;
If currently in private practice, will have at least gained secondment experience from a similar financial institution;
Will have experience in private equity and investment management legal matters;
Will posses excellent drafting skills;
Have regional experience;
Will be fluent in Arabic (desirable but not essential).
