Scott qualified at the Bar in 1997 and practised as a Barrister at Goldsmith Chambers in London before joining Hughes-Castell in 1998. He is a Director of Hughes-Castell and operational Head of its London office. Scott recruits for both law firms and in-house organisations at a senior level. Matters he has undertaken include: equity partner and team moves, an international law firm merger, and sourcing candidates for departmental and Global Heads of Legal positions in investment banks and financial service organisations. Scott has written published articles on both law firm and in-house recruitment, and is regularly invited to speak at Law Society Commerce and Industry seminars. Scott's interests include mountain biking, history, and finding ways to entertain his young son.
