Singapore offers lovely sights like the famous Sentosa, its renown zoo, safari and bird park. In 2009, Singapore will have two integrated resorts with casinos, theme parks and entertainment. It is very easy to travel around the country and the main modes of transports are train (MRT), taxis and buses. Singapore is known as the gateway to Asia and travel from Singapore to other Asia cities is trouble free and smooth. Malaysia is nearby and there is easy access to the many beautiful islands in Asia. Singapore is a great hub, with excellent connections to Thailand, India and Vietnam, via Changi, one of the world’s great airports and via Singapore Airlines, one of the world’s greatest airlines. Many new budget carriers also use Singapore as a hub. There is a nostalgia train that travels from Singapore to Bangkok offered by the Orient Express, and Singapore is a cruise ship destination and a major shipping port.
