Our history

For over 20 years, Hughes-Castell has placed lawyers at all levels in international law firms, multinationals and overseas-listed Chinese companies in Hong Kong and China. Our first placement in China itself was in 1995 in Beijing and we have since developed an unrivalled understanding of this fast-growing legal market.  Since we opened our subsidiary office in Beijing in 2005, we have been able to build on our knowledge and market expertise. Our bilingual consultants provide invaluable advice on building legal teams in both private practice and in-house and bring a personal touch to career guidance for lawyers. Our clients value our ability to introduce and successfully place high calibre, suitable candidates within their budget as well as advise on what that budget should be.

Shanghai
Hughes-Castell has begun a new chapter in Shanghai. It is expected that the office in Shanghai will be fully functional in 2008. Although the office may be new, Hughes-Castell is not new to Shanghai; we have been covering the Shanghai market since 1995.
